Adelaide University Sailing Club

Why should I join?

As a member of the AUSC, you can use all the club equipment at a subsidized rate, take part in the club's social events and partake in races around Adelaide. Members who are capable sailors or have completed one of the training courses are free to use the clubs boats at any time. Members are entitled to full rights and privileges of club membership, including the right to vote and hold office, and can use the facilities of our affiliated clubs, Henley Sailing Club & The Cruising Yacht Club of SA.

Who is eligible?

Membership is open to all AU Students, Staff, Alumni & members of the University Community. If you are not a current student, you must sign up to the Adelaide Uni Sports Association (AUSA) before joining any AU club.

How much does it cost?

AU Students - $15
Non AU Students - $20 + $66 Sports Association affiliation fee.
Social - $11
Junior (under 18yrs) - $11
Membership is for a one year period, beginning March 1st and going through to the end of February of the following year. (From O-Week to O-Week)

How do I sign up?
You can arrange to join either by:
- contacting a committee member to meet at any convenient time on campus
- signing up at our stall during the University O-Week (usually in February & July
each year)
- coming to one of the regular club sailing days or events
