What to Bring
After setting up the boats on the lawns, participants can don sailing gear which should include:
- Suitable loose clothes that you can wear with the wetsuit provided & you don’t mind getting wet!
- Sandshoes to wear in the boat – thongs/sandals are not suitable.
- A hat and waterproof sunscreen – be sun smart!
- Sunglasses
- A towel
- Drinks & snacks – or you can purchase from the canteen.
Sailing Skiff (wetsuits), PFDs (life jackets), gloves and Spray/windproof jackets will be provided.
Participants should have warm clothes to change into after sailing (a spare jumper is a good idea).
Secure storage is available in the club rooms and participants should not leave valuables (mobile phone, watches, money etc) in change rooms.
Do not take any mobile phones or electronic gadgets with you on the boat, unless in a waterproof pouch!
