How to get to Sailing:
Members can arrange to get a lift from the city or specific suburbs, so if you need a ride, email sailing@theblacks.com.au and we can try and help you out. No guarantees you will like the music in the car though!
Directions To Henley Beach Sailing Club, 1 Seaview Rd West Beach, 83566393.
We meet anytime from 10:00am at Henley Sailing Club at West Beach. Try and get there by 11:00 am at the latest.
The best bus to take on the weekend is a 130 or 132 and get off at stop 23c on Seaview road. More details available at http://www.adelaidemetro.com.au/routes/timetables/routemaps/130-131-132-... You can take bus 133 but you will need to get off at stop 24 on Military Road and walk towards the beach. All the buses leave from Currie or Grenfell Streets in the city. We tend to stay at the club till about 3:00 pm depending on how many people are around. If we are not on the lawn area by the clubs car park, walk down to the beach and you should see someone there from the club. Otherwise we will be on the balcony of the Henley Sailing Club enjoying the day.
You can cycle to Henley/West Beach by following the Torrens River bike route from the city. It’s an easy ride and will take 20-30 minutes from the city
